Xiangshan Marine Science and Technology Port, located in Zhuhai, Guangdong, is China's first unmanned ship R&D and testing base. It will become a public technical service platform for the design, development and testing of marine equipment in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
The unique double-ship building shape directly reflects the industry characteristics and industry culture, and is expected to add a new landscape to Lovers' Road and become a new landmark in Zhuhai. Xiangshan Marine Science and Technology Port is located in the south of Tangjiawan Port and the north of Qinglu North Road in Zhuhai National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The project covers an area of 32,000 square meters and a construction area of 52,000 square meters. It adopts a catamaran shape, full of futuristic and technological sense, like a catamaran warship ready to go and pointing its sword at the deep blue.
The streamlined design of the catamaran exterior wall uses a large number of aluminum plates to complete. The complex shape, the flatness of the splicing between aluminum plates, and the supply capacity are all huge challenges for manufacturers. The hyperbolic aluminum plate uses Rhino software for modeling and process design, and the large-scale commercial nonlinear finite element software ABAQUS is used for forming process simulation analysis.
